Teaching Practice Weekly Report (2nd phase - Week 1)

  This is my second phase of teaching practice starting from 12 November 2018 to 7 December 2018 and again from 23 January 2019 to 26 January 2019.For this fourth semester teaching practice I have been allotted St.Thomas Higher Secondary School, Kadampanad. As I have done my first phase of  me school teaching practice in third semester here itself i was very happy to go back to that same school.During this phase I have been allotted plus two commerce batch and the class comprises of fifty six students the class teacher of the class is Mrs. Jincy Thomas.I have been asked to take two chapters they are chapter12 and chapter 13 entrepreneurial development. I have been asked to take entrepreneurial development first and then to proceed to consumer protection. I have taken five topics and was able to complete the class according to he lesson plan.I have already decided to make all the students actively involve in my class. I have made use of case analysis,general discussion,group discussion ,activity etc .The topics i have taken during this week included concept and characteristics of entrepreneur,comparison between entrepreneur,businessman and employee,concept and characteristics of entrepreneurship,comparison between entrepreneurship and management,need for entrepreneurship.During this week there was special assembly for giving prizes for students who won in the school quiz competition on november 13 and on Childrens Day and World Diabetes Day (November 14)there was special assembly and also NSS rally.
